The French Association

The Association for the Beatification and Canonization of Zita, Empress and Queen, wife and mother (1892-1989) was created on January 28, 2009 and declared at the Sous-Préfecture of Le Flèche, France, on February 16, 2009. The president is Mr. Jean Sévillia, a historian and journalist.

The goals of the Association are:
• To pray and work for the sanctification of couples and families in the modern world.
• To promote the cause of beatification and canonization of the Servant of God Zita by the Catholic Church.

The Association will use the following means of action:
• To disseminate, by any means of communication, knowledge about the life and work of the Servant of God.
• To collect through any legitimate means the necessary funds to finance this cause.
• To work as “Actor” for the diocesan investigation and before the Congregation of the Causes of Saints.
• As Actor for the Cause, to name or remove the postulator.
• To organize, once a year, a day of prayer for the achievement of these goals.
